  • Please arrive with clean, dry skin in the area being waxed (no heavy lotions, oils, or body butters).

  • If you’re using retinol, tretinoin, adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, or exfoliating acids on the area being waxed, please note it during booking. Your service may need to be adjusted for skin safety and comfort.

  • If you’ve had a recent procedure (peel, laser, microneedling, sunburn), or have sensitivity concerns, please reach out before booking.

Hair should be long enough for the wax to grip for a clean removal. If you’re unsure about length, book your appointment and add a note—your service can be confirmed at check-in.

How long should my hair be before waxing?

Waxing can be uncomfortable, especially for first-time clients or sensitive areas. Appointments are paced with comfort in mind, and consistent waxing often feels easier over time.

Does waxing hurt?

Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy oils or lotions on the area. If it’s your first Brazilian or you’re nervous, add a note during booking so your appointment can be approached with extra care.

What should I do before a Brazilian wax?

For 24–48 hours, avoid heat and steam (hot baths, saunas), heavy sweating, friction, and exfoliation on the waxed area. Follow the aftercare guidance provided so skin stays calm and smooth.

What should I avoid after waxing?

Consistent aftercare makes a difference—especially gentle exfoliation when appropriate and keeping skin hydrated and calm. If you’re prone to ingrowns, maintaining a regular waxing schedule and using supportive home care helps.

How do I prevent ingrown hairs after waxing?

If you use retinol, tretinoin, adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, or exfoliating acids on the area being waxed, it’s important to share that during booking. Your service may need to be adjusted or rescheduled to protect skin integrity.

Can I get waxed if I use retinol or tretinoin?

Accutane can significantly increase skin sensitivity and risk of lifting/irritation. If you are currently using Accutane or recently completed it, reach out before booking so a safe timeline can be confirmed.

Can I wax if I’m on Accutane or recently finished Accutane?

Waxing can be done with sensitivity in mind, but it depends on your skin history and current products. If you’re reactive, easily irritated, or have had prior reactions, note it during booking so your service can be approached appropriately.

Is waxing safe for sensitive skin?

First-time Brazilians are welcome and common. Your appointment will be paced for comfort and clear communication, and you’ll receive straightforward aftercare so you know what to expect.

What if it’s my first Brazilian wax?

Yes, men’s waxing services are available. Timing can vary depending on hair density and growth patterns, so longer appointments may be recommended for first-time bookings.

Do you offer men’s waxing?

Most clients book waxing every 4–6 weeks depending on growth and the area being treated. A consistent schedule often leads to smoother results and easier maintenance.

How often should I wax?

Many clients continue waxing during pregnancy, but sensitivity can increase. If you’re pregnant and it’s your first time or you’re unsure what to book, add a note during booking so the appointment can be approached with comfort in mind.

Can I wax if I’m pregnant?

Some redness is normal after waxing, especially in sensitive areas. It typically settles quickly, and aftercare guidance is provided to support calm skin.

Will I be red after waxing?

Yes—vajacial-style services are often booked to support smoother texture and ingrown-prone areas between waxing appointments. Timing and suitability depend on sensitivity, so add a note during booking if you’re unsure.
